A very good friend of mine and very engaged Rosicrucian once told me that our life has cycles in which we should act smartly or take care of ourselves. Specifically in health related cycles, we humans have to be careful forty five days before and 45 days after our birthday. (I know, this sounds like astrology).

Although I do not get along with those beliefs, I have made observations in people and in myself; good health is not people’s best condition during the winter. Coincidentally, winter is within that delicate time range for me and some relatives.

On Saturday, December 5th, 2016, one of my sisters send me a text saying she had been sent to Houston Herman Memorial Hospital’s emergency room with a chronic kidney pain. Her birthday is January 23rd., (50 days later).

During the last week of November, I was feeling weird; all my insides (lungs, liver, pancreas, stomach and any identifiable gut) joined in an animosity shaking and trembling with no end. Fifteen days later, I was stretching my body before leaving bed one morning when I heard a loud noise, like something was breaking at the lower of my left ribs. It hurt but my trembling stopped. At least for a while.

Those days started with syncope symptoms. There were moments I was chatting with my friends at work and all suddenly I caught myself awakening from a dream. All this in within microseconds. The office doctor said, after a thorough analysis, I had to hydrate more.

As time has passed, I notice that when my glucose levels are high, the trembling ceases. I just hope I have not become diabetic.
