Days behind I told my wife of the potential new job opportunity that might be available for her with my current employer. She got excited with the idea of us working together and making a good combined income with a salary that would triple her current paycheck.

The job opening was announced two weeks ago and she didn’t seem to care about it. I just can’t force her to a decision but I was curious to know what was going on in her mind. “If you are planning to apply for the job, you’re a little too late now” I said. She tried to go around her real feelings about that job and replied to me with apparent concerns about her computer skills and her level of English. I knew she’d change her mind on that job.

Yesterday she said to me at last, she did not want to apply for the job. “Instead –she said-, I want to help you start your new business”.

There could not be better news for me that very moment.
